Lavabits mathematics serves as an opportunity to develop minds towards mathematical competency and logical thought. Individuals from a wide demographic are given classes and tutorials from a group of experienced lecturers. These classes would prepare individuals for CXC, CAPE, CAMBRIDGE, and UWI certifications.

Year 1 O'Level Mathematics

YEAR 1 Mathematics [4th Form Equivalent] is a student's first introduction to the syllabus for CXC O'Level Mathematics. This level gives students standard Mathematical skills for the job market.

Year 2 O'Level Mathematics

Lecturer: Daniel Joseph
YEAR 2 Mathematics [5th form equivalent] is a continuance of CXC O'level Mathematics begun at YEAR 1. This second year typically consists of the more difficult concepts for O'level Mathematics. Students sit their CXC 'Basic' or 'General' at the end of this second year.

A' Level Mathematics

Mathematics at this level prepares students for University courses that require an understanding of Mathematical concepts. These courses include Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics itself.

These Maths courses provide support to the students enrolled at the local University Center branch, in courses that involve Mathematics and Statistics.

ICT
Lavabits ICT provides a suite of courses, including Web Design, and Computer Programming, designed to develop the competencies necessary to move Montserrat towards an ICT integrated and fuelled future. Building local expertise within these fields will serve to give new global opportunities to Montserrat.

Web Design seeks to find and nurture local talent in website development. This course is based on the most recent web standards and technologies. Especially talented students in this area may be given career opportunities within Lavabits.

Computer Programming

Computer programming introduces students to the development of computer software. Students will be taught in high level computer languages. Students interested in web development may consider taking this course concurrently if they intend to access advanced website development.

Computer Graphics
Price: $25 per class
Lecturer: Manish Valechha
Students with artistic sensibilities are, within this course, taught how to create and manipulate digital images, using current high end graphic editing tools (Photoshop). Future courses may entail 3D Modeling and Animation.

Physics
As one of the most fundamental of the sciences physics teaches you to analyze problems, reason logically and to discriminate between important and irrelevant information. A Lavabits physics education will teach you the principles of physics and how to apply these principles to solve new problems.
